Opis nekretnine
CRO
Franji Kajfežu, u čije vlasništvo u to vrijeme i dolazi.

If we would search for a most picturesque castle in Hrvatsko zagorje, that would undoubtedly be Miljana, the castle of the old noble family Ratkay. It is situated near Veliki Tabor, the seat of Ratkay family, situated on the hill nearby the river of Sutla, ten kilometers north from Kumrovec. The castle is conceived as a four-winged building with inner garden closed by wings of unequal width and height. Since the beginning of 17th century to the middle of 19th century, when the construction was finished, the castle had been upgraded and modified for several occasions, therefore, its development and emergence is characterized by several phases. The construction commenced between 1597 and 1603. The castle’s facade is black-blue with white paintings on the angles and around the windows and with white medallions and rectangular fields. The present Miljana is renewed just in that black-blue phase. According to the quality and contents, the saloons of the castle contain the most valuable wall paintings from Croatian rococo period. This most integral cycle originating from this gallant century some people assign to A. Lerchinger. The painted walls and window ornaments show the astrology themes, pastoral images and flippant scenes from the life of nobles in Hrvatsko zagorje in second half of 18th century. The inside of the castle is a home of especially valid rococo tiled stoves. After death of Josip Ivan Ratkay, the last member of the family, who died in 1793, Miljana often changed its proprietors. It was for some time under the administration of the king. During the year 1852 the castle was bought from the state by noble Antun Kuhtić who bought it for his nephew, the noble Ljudevit Kuhtić, who married Ernestina Oršić, the countess. Around 1890, the castle was bought by Jäger family, which owned it till 1980, when its owner becomes Dr. Franjo Kajfež, the man who renewed the castle, enabled the public visits and opened an exhibition space in the castle. Today Miljana is an inevitable tourist point of Hrvatsko zagorje. The castle nowadays belongs to the category of the first rank monuments.
Living space contains graund floor with ten rooms, three bathroom, three toilets, one big and one small kitchen, boiler room, storage room, and big tavern for 30 people. First floor has eight big rooms and three bathrooms, and there is also mansard with gallery and library with over thousand of valuable books. Next to the castle there is a tennis court equipped with the night light and all necessary maintaining equipment, vineyard cottage and vine cellar, pool, vineyard, indoor-outdoor pool. Three lakes, linked with two sheds intended for recreation make the entire impression perfect. It is possible to approach the castle with helicopter because it has a heliodrom.
The castle is well maintained and ready for new owner.
